Our New Logo

Creative Direction

This logo celebrates Peace’s past, represents our city, and offers a vision for where we’re going as a church. The font and design are distinct, yet simple and uncluttered.

Depending on your own creative tendencies, you may see …

The Confluence:
The two lines that intersect in the center of the circle represent the confluence of the Eau Claire and Chippewa rivers.

The Mosaic:
The new logo is somewhat in step with the previous logo. Although it’s a circle, and not a square, it’s still a simple mosaic, using multiple pieces and colors to create one unified shape.

Our Ministry Strategy:
As Peace moves into the future, there are three primary strategies: Discover, Grow, and Go. Each piece represents one of those areas.

With a nod to the rich tradition of Peace, this design evokes the usage of water and represents a simple stained glass pattern.

You also might be able to pick out the abstract shape of a descending dove, with two wings and a tail. Or the contour of a ‘P.’ Or even a variation of an upside-down peace symbol. There are many visual possibilities. Which one makes an impression on you?
