We're Glad You're Here

Peace is a community of people from all over the Chippewa Valley whose lives are being transformed by Jesus Christ. Each week we come together to worship God and listen to dynamic, relevant messages based on Biblical truths. We share life deeply with one another in authentic community and reach out to serve our neighbors, both locally and around the world.

Visitors are always welcome.

Worship

At Peace we would like to see everyone who walks through our doors fully live as a follower of Jesus. One of the ways we do that is by providing a number of unique worshipping experiences in two different venues.

In the Spiritual Life Center we offer three contemporary worship opportunities: Saturday at 6 p.m., and Sunday at 9:35 and 11:00 a.m. We also feature a traditional service at 8:15 a.m. Sunday that offers the best of our Lutheran heritage.

In the Community Life Center we hold three Sunday worship services at 8:15, 9:35 and 11:00 a.m. These services are set in a more casual environment that blends new expressions of praise with the timeless truths of God’s Word.

Children

Children are always welcome in worship. If you prefer, we also offer childcare during all services on Saturday and Sunday for kids under 3. The childcare room is conveniently located across from the Community Life Center and next door to the Peace Library.

Children’s programming is offered on Sunday mornings throughout the year for children ages 3 through 5th grade. During the 8:15 and 11:00 a.m. services, children are invited to worship with their families before being dismissed for “children’s church,” a special time of teaching and activities. Full Sunday school is offered weekly during the 9:35 a.m. services. Kindergarteners through 5th-graders experience the day’s Bible lesson in a fun, large-group setting that includes interactive worship, games and skits, followed by the intimate impact of small groups to build relationships.

Communion

Communion is offered every weekend in the Community Life Center and on the first and third Sundays of the month in the Spiritual Life Center.

We believe the Lord’s Supper is more than a way of remembering the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus provides His body and blood in a supernatural way, offering us complete forgiveness and the power to lead a more godly life.

If you trust in Jesus as your Savior and share this understanding of Christ’s presence and power in His Supper, we invite you to participate with us. If you have not received any instruction on the Lord’s Supper from a Lutheran perspective, we encourage you to go through a first-communion class before participating.

Here to Serve

When you come to Peace you can expect to find a committed group of volunteers dedicated to helping you make connections and draw closer to Jesus Christ. These volunteers wear “Here to Serve” name tags. Don’t hesitate to approach one of these team members and ask them any questions you have about Peace.
