What We Believe

God's Grace
God desires to offer grace, his unconditional and unmerited love given through Jesus Christ, to every person. (Ephesians 2:1-10)

Spiritual Development
It is God's plan that every Christian be on a journey of spiritual development as the Holy Spirit liberates us from sinful patterns and empowers us to grow into our potential as Christ's followers. (Ephesians 4:11-16)

Empowering Every Christian for Ministry
Every Christian has been gifted by the Holy Spirit to participate in God's work in the world. A major role of the church leadership is to provide encouragement and training for our members to use their God-given abilities for service within the church and community. (1 Corinthians 12)

Christian Relationships
Christian friendships and mentoring relationships provide crucial channels for mutual care and service. Relationships also support spiritual development as we serve as Christ-like examples for one another and help one another apply God's Word to daily living. (Colossians 3:12-17)

Application of God's Word to Life
The preaching and teaching ministry of Peace seeks to apply God's Word in practical ways to every aspect of our lives. (James 1:22)

Experiencing God's Presence
We seek to cultivate deeply spiritual relationships with Jesus Christ through personal and corporate worship, study, prayer, and retreat. (Psalm 63:1-5; Acts 2:42-47)

Vitality and Diversity in Worship
Peace is committed to using the best of traditional and contemporary resources to provide worship experiences where people of different generations and musical preferences can encounter God in a meaningful way. (1 Corinthians 9:19-22)

Multi-generational Ministry
Our mission is to share the Gospel message with every generation in the Chippewa Valley, each loved by God and in need of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
