The Christian life is not meant to be a solitary endeavor; rather it is to be lived out in community with other Christians. Through our relationships with one another we have the opportunity to guide others and to be guided in our walk with Jesus. Group life enables us to share life deeply with other Christians as we develop authentic community, supporting, affirming, and encouraging one another to faithfully follow Jesus. Together we apply God's Word to our lives, we learn to practice compassion, and we empower each other to serve with the love of Jesus. The Holy Spirit works through the Peace community to transform our lives so that individually and collectively, we more fully show forth the love of Jesus to the world. [Hebrews 10:23-25; Colossians 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians. 5:9-11; John 13:34-35]
Life Group ministry is our primary strategy for helping you get connected in community with other Christians. Each Life Group is a small group of Christians committed to meeting regularly to support each other in their faith life and to explore God's Word together.
Peace provides a number of other ways for people to connect in groups, including things like retreats, service groups, Wednesday evening meals and congregational events. We also have specific ministry activities that promote group connections for Men, Women and Families. You can find out more about these on the "Ministries" page.
