2 Corinthians 3:11-12, 18-4:6 reminds us that God is transforming us as we reflect God’s glory in the world. Each of us has been given a unique “role” where we have the opportunity to go, love, and share the Gospel. Even as we each go the way God has called us, we follow the same path: the proclamation of Christ as Lord and not ourselves. How are our lives proclaiming that individually? How about as a church?

Monday | Matthew 5:14-16

During the sermon on the Mount, Jesus inspired his followers by reminding them of the powerful purpose behind their lives. How do these words inspire you? What areas are you hiding from God, or hiding from others? Where can you be shining brightly for the sake of Christ?

Tuesday | 1 Thessalonians 2:8-12

Paul reminded early followers about their conduct as leaders and the life to which they as Christians are called. Who is someone you admire for their faithfulness to God? Why? How can you be “walking in a manner worthy of God”? What is one thing you can stop or begin doing today?

Wednesday | Daniel 12:3

“Those who are wise” are those who have sought out the foolishness of God in Christ. What does it look like to have the mind of Christ today? And how does that cause us to shine in this world as a beacon for the world to come?

Thursday | John 8:12

What is it like to walk in the dark? In our modern times, this is hard to do, but there is dread and fear of the unknown. How does Jesus change your situation? Why is the light of the world so important in our lives?

Friday | 1 Peter 2:9-10

Dwell on who you are, according to this passage. Who are you? Whose are you? You have gone from darkness to light- how are you going to proclaim that in your life?
