Week of January 26, 2025

This week we focus on how to live in the Kingdom of God, without anger and lust.

Monday | Exodus 20:13-14

God told his people how he expected them to live. But they were no longer slaves- they were free! How does freedom change our mindset on God’s commandments? Why do you think murder and adultery make the top ten list? How can you follow God’s call to freedom?

Tuesday | Psalm 4:1-4

What is the connection between anger and prayer? When have you felt righteous anger? How did you respond to it?

Wednesday |1 John 3:14-15

Abiding in love is abiding in life. Why do you think abiding in hate is abiding in death? What hate do you need to get rid of?

Thursday | Galatians 5:16-18

How is the Holy Spirit opposed to the desires of the flesh? Where do you feel the tension in your life between Spirit and flesh? What can you do about it?

Friday | Galatians 5:19-24

What does the spiritual life consist of? What is the opposite? Considering these verses, what are you seeing more of in your life, and how are you crucifying your desires?
