Monday | Ephesians 3:1-13

Why do you think Paul uses the term “mystery” to describe the Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ? In what ways has it felt like a mystery to you? How was the truth of the Gospel revealed to you? Who has God put on your heart that has yet to learn the wonderful mystery of the Gospel?

Tuesday | Ephesians 3:14-21

As you read Paul’s prayer in verses 14-19, what phrase stands out as something you want or need from God? Spend time reflecting on and praying for that spiritual blessing. In what ways have you been feeling filled by God? What might it look or feel like for you to be more “filled with the fullness of God”?

Wednesday | John 10:7-18

Jesus says that He offers life that is abundant, and overflowing. How would you describe the abundant life in Christ to someone, who does not yet believe in Him? In what ways does knowing that Jesus is your good shepherd, make your life more full?

Thursday | Colossians 1:9-14

Paul teaches about being filled with God in other letters as well. How is this passage similar to Ephesians 3:14-21? What differences, and additional thoughts do you find here? What outcomes of being filled by God are noted in these verses?

Friday | Colossians 2:6-15

Paul points out that Jesus is the perfect picture of a human being filled to the fullness of God, indeed He is the very fulness of God. How does Paul talk about what Jesus was able to do for us because He is God? (vs. 13-15)  What things threaten to take away our fullness in Jesus? (v. 8)  How are we able to guard against “leaks” when it comes to God filling us with faith, love, goodness, etc.? What steps can/will you take to be more available to God’s work of filling you up?
